Can't See The Forest For The Trees

Second of todays alcohol ink paintings. Another 'adventure' in painting, as in "I'm not really too sure if this is gonna work" kind of thing . . .  But I think it did, I really like this one as well. Yet another version of the many trees that have been so very good to me over the years. This "One of a Kind" painting will be making it's appearance at the next show - which is the new Arts at the Mill in Moorseville. A new 'adventure' in shows!

Raven

Alcohol ink paintings today, trying to replace some sales from the last show. Have really wanted to try painting this crow, it was scary but I really like it. Not sure I have another one in me though, kept holding my breath for pretty much the whole painting!!

I'll Be Here, Come See Me

New Show for me this Fall. Don't usually participate in a first year show but I have a feeling this will be a really good one. Haven't done anything in the Mooresville area but always wanted to find something. Please come by and see me. Will be showing jewelry and alcohol ink paintings, so stop by and give me a high five for moral support. See you there!!

Commemorative Eclipse Pendant

Another Commemorative Eclipse Pendant. I was hoping they would be noticed at the last show, just didn't know they'd exceed what I'd hoped - a case of 'be careful what you wish for'. The shimmer on the surface is so hard to capture with my limited skills, but it really is pretty. Scurrying to make some more before the rest of the Fall Shows . . . . . . . Working hard!!!

Such a beautiful set. Soft muted colors in the hollow beads, Silvered glass on the center hollow, 2 boro beads on either side with tiny opal chips that shine in the light. Matching hollow earrings round out this one of a kind piece. The hollow necklaces proved to be quite popular at the last show. They are lovely.

Hollows For Earrings

Beautifully striated blue hollow beads, large Swarovski crystals and roundels, signature ear wires and lots of sterling silver. How pretty! Only pair available till after Christmas.

Etched With Frit

Pretty etched pale turquoise glass with a soft frit blend on the surface. Signature handmade ear wires. Lots of sterling and Swarovski crystals make these special but may be worn every day.

Commemorative Eclipse Pendant #1

Last August 21st I'd planned to be at home, in NC, where an almost full eclipse was predicted. Then I got a call from our youngest son (who lives in Vermont) and was asked to come spend a week with our youngest grandchild (his son Emmett). Of course I jumped at the chance and was able to view the eclipse with them. I sure hope Emmett remembers it forever - I sure will. This is the first version.

Commemorative Eclipse Pendant #2

Last August 21st I'd planned to be at home, in NC, where an almost full eclipse was predicted. Then I got a call from our youngest son (who lives in Vermont) and was asked to come spend a week with our youngest grandchild (his son Emmett). Of course I jumped at the chance and was able to view the eclipse with them. I sure hope Emmett remembers it forever - I sure will. This is the second pendant version.

Commemorative Eclipse Pendant #3

Last August 21st I'd planned to be at home, in NC, where an almost full eclipse was predicted. Then I got a call from our youngest son (who lives in Vermont) and was asked to come spend a week with our youngest grandchild (his son Emmett). Moonscape

A beautiful moonscape pendant. Silver glass, frit and a little touch of dichro for sparkle. Vivid shades of blue, one of a kind piece.

Fall Leaves

Fall colors in these leaf earrings. There are two pair of each color and will make their debut at the first Fall show in Concord - Christmas Made in the South. Look for me in the lower level, at the end of the ramp. Corner booth. You'll see me right as the end of the ramp when you enter the lower level. There's lots of new things since last year. Come see me.

Frog Pendant

Froggie went a courting' … well, he's definitely putting himself out there anyway! This little frog pendant was taught at the last class in Florida and all the students loved it. Each one looked different, but they were all impressive. This is the only one, would take a lot to duplicate … just sayin' so you'd better jump quick!

Bodacious Hollows

Bountiful bodacious hollow bead necklaces. Most impressive, without the weight. These went over so well at the last art show I just had to make more. They certainly take a certain confident woman who definitely wants a statement piece to wear. Earth tones and bright colors - something for every personality who loves pieces with pizazz!!!

Tree of Life

Tree of Life pendant. This piece has the added agate necklace included, all the way around the neck. A link chain at the end so the length may be adjusted to your particular ensemble of the day.  Thanks for looking.
